A new exhibition highlights the friendship and artistic exchanges between the painter Modigliani and the sculptor Zadkine
The Modigliani/Zadkine exhibition reveals the friendly and artistic relationship between two avant-garde artists: the sculptor Ossip Zadkine and the painter Amadeo Mogliani. Presented at the Musée Zadkine in Paris, it paints a cross-portrait of the two artists, who arrived in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century and met in 1913. The exhibition focuses on the years 1910 to 1920, in the artistic effervescence of Montparnasse. It features almost 90 works: paintings, sculptures, drawings and historical documents tracing the careers of the two artists. On view from 14 November 2024 to 30 March 2025.
