Cité de l’architecture & du patrimoine

The Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine is housed in the Palais de Chaillot, on the Trocadero square in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, and offers a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. The Cité houses a museum, a library, an auditorium, a school for architects, a specialized bookshop and a restaurant. 22,000m², entirely dedicated to architecture and urban planning, to discover, look at, learn, understand and stroll around. La Cité offers a unique experience: a 1h30 tour of France's finest buildings and structures, from the Middle Ages to the present day. A collection of models and life-size reproductions; a museum of architecture in 3D! The Cité de l'Architecture & du Patrimoine features three galleries showcasing the permanent collections: the gallery of life-size casts; the gallery of paintings and stained-glass windows; and the gallery of models of modern and contemporary architecture.

Opening times and prices

-18 years (permanent collections and temporary exhibitions).

Free admission to permanent collections on the 1st Sunday of the month. Free admission for European Union citizens under 26, and teachers with the Education Pass. Free admission for disabled visitors and their companions, jobseekers and those receiving minimum social benefits. Current events galleries: free admission for all.

Groups of 1 to 20 people (325€ in French and 350€ in foreign languages); Groups of 20 to 30 people, permanent collections only (395€ in French and 420€ in foreign languages); Admission tickets included;
