The Musée des Arts et Métiers, founded in 1794, is housed in the Abbaye de Saint-Martin-des-Champs. With a total surface are of 10,000 m², 6,000m² is devoted to permanent exhibitions. 3,000 objects are displayed out of a total collection of 80,000 objects and 15,000 drawings. There are various areas to visit based on different themes: scientific instruments, materials, construction, communication, mechanics and transport. The museum also displays the original model of Foucault's Pendulum.

- Visually impaired: tactile discovery activities available from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 6pm (reservation required at least one month in advance). The history of the print house is a tactile part of the visit.
- Hearing impaired: activities in French Sign Language for individuals (reservation required at least one week in advance), for groups ( reservations required at least two weeks in advance), and lip-reading tours (reservation required at least one month in advance).
- Mentally disabled: adapted tours (reservations required at least one month in advance), non-guided tours for children with booklet provided to assist with the visit.
