The workshops for toddlers aged 0-3 give children the chance to take sensory tours and then explore their first artistic gestures accompanied by their parents. This gentle tour is designed to suit parents' needs, and to help toddlers awaken their senses.
Family activities for children aged 3 and over: Families can use the games booklets, which can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the museum reception desk, to organise their visit and then carry out an activity with a visual artist. It's a great way for young and old alike to share some fun times together!
The guided tours for 4-6 year olds and workshop tours for 7-10 year olds are an opportunity for children to be accompanied by a member of the museum staff as they discover an artist or different artistic worlds. After the visit, a whole range of workshop activities is offered to develop each child's artistic potential, either by practising a visual activity (painting, drawing, collage, modelling or photomontage), or by approaching sound, music and multimedia tools.
11-14 years course | Les Incubateurs: during the school holidays, 11-14 year olds are invited to spend two or three successive afternoons exploring different plastic arts techniques based on a modern artistic movement. From creating a fanzine or a sound object to stop-motion filming or video editing, these workshops are a veritable breeding ground for ideas and knowledge-sharing between the teenagers, the photographer and the sound designer.
Located in the heart of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, with its outdoor terrace facing the Eiffel Tower and the Seine, Forest - Brasserie Soleil, the latest signature of Chef Julien Sebbag, welcomes Parisians, visitors from all over the world and Les Afficionados d'art moderne from Tuesday to Sunday. A timeless spot, both in winter with its warm, comfortable interior, and in summer with its vast terrace offering one of the finest views of the Eiffel Tower, Forest is a Mediterranean-inspired brasserie, focusing on local, seasonal produce and homemade dishes, with a selection of refined cocktails and a festive atmosphere in the evening.
