In September 2026, the Fondation Cartier unveils a major gastronomic project on rue de Rivoli. The chef Anne-Sophie Pic, France's only three-starred woman, will set up her new Parisian signature following the closure of La Dame de Pic. This new chapter opens in two stages: on September 4, 2026 with the inauguration of the "Utopic" bar, followed on September 9, 2026 by the opening of her exceptional "Anne-Sophie Pic Paris" table. This arrival reinforces the dialogue between haute cuisine and contemporary art at the heart of the institution.
The Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain has moved from the 14th arrondissement to a new emblematic location: the Palais Royal, in the heart of Paris. This new space, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, continues the foundation's ambition to support contemporary creation in all its forms - art, design, photography, architecture, science and the performing arts. Through temporary exhibitions, performances and encounters, the Fondation Cartier offers a program open to the major issues of our time, while affirming a dialogue between artists, audiences and disciplines. The Fondation Cartier's contemporary-design building is set in an exceptional heritage site, close to Parisian and international audiences.
