The Musée de l'Orangerie unveils the work of Alexandre Lenoir: from photography to painting
From photography to painting, it's just a small step, and that's the choice Alexandre Lenoir has made in his artistic work. His paintings mainly depict landscapes divided by mostly ghostly silhouettes. To mark the 16th contemporary counterpoint, the Musée de l'Orangerie is presenting four previously unseen paintings by the artist. The exhibition explores his working techniques through his paintings, including his use of tape to mask and cover up, ultimately revealing scenes without artifice. Open to the public from 25 March 2026.
From 9am to 6pm. Closed on Tuesday.
