Wolfgang Tillmans. Nothing could have prepared us – Everything could have prepared us

Bibliothèque Publique d'Information - BPI, Centre Pompidou - Rue Beaubourg - 75004 Paris
From 13 June to 22 September 2025

The German photographer and visual artist creates a dialogue between his works and the architecture of the Centre Pompidou's Public Information Library

A retrospective of the artist Wolgang Tillmans will be on display until 22 September 2025 in the spaces of the Centre Pompidou's Public Information Library, before it closes for renovation. Covering more than 6,000 m², the photographer and visual artist presents an exceptional exhibition in which his works interact with the architecture of the venue. Designed to question the current world, it offers his vision of the political and social changes of the last 35 years. Some works may be offensive to the public, particularly minors.
Open daily from 11am to 7pm. Closed on Tuesday.
