From 1 July to 30 November 2026, the Paris National Opera and INIT Lab are teaming up to present “In the Footsteps of a Star - Behind the Scenes at the Palais Garnier,” a unique immersive virtual reality experience. This 10-minute film follows the daily life of prima ballerina Bleuenn Battistoni and offers a glimpse into areas of the Opera House unknown to the general public. Directed by Matthieu Genre using cutting-edge 180° stereoscopic filming, this production goes beyond traditional editing by giving viewers complete freedom of movement with their gaze, offering an entirely new perspective on the artists and the various professions at the Opera.
