Disco. I'm coming out

The Philharmonie de Paris is celebrating disco, the iconic music of the 70s and 80s and a worldwide success.

From 14 February to 17 August 2025, the Philharmonie de Paris is presenting a brand new exhibition dedicated to disco. Born in the early 1970s, this musical genre drawing on black American culture and music emerged in the United States before enjoying dazzling success around the world in the 1980s. Accompanied by a soundtrack mixed by Dimitri from Paris, the exhibition Disco. I'm coming out, bringing together audiovisual archives, photographs, instruments, costumes, objects and works of art, explores the festive, aesthetic and political facets of disco. A musical programme, including a concert by Cerrone and a disco party, completes the visit.
