A scientific and entertaining journey into desert environments and their biodiversity

From 2 April to 30 November 2025, in the heart of the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle is devoting an exhibition to hot and cold deserts. This journey through the world's most beautiful deserts, from the Sahara to the Atacama and the polar deserts, invites visitors to discover these fragile environments with their varied landscapes offering extreme living conditions, and the adaptation strategies of the animals and people who live there. Nearly 200 specimens and objects, from naturalised animals to minerals and plants, will be on display. Projections and interactive and tactile displays complete the visit.
From 10am to 6pm. Closed on Tuesday and 1st May.
From €10 to €16.
