Fashion and physical activity, the exhibition to be seen at the Palais Galliera

To tie in with the Paris Olympic Games, the Palais Galliera is turning the spotlight on the way fashion dresses the body as it moves. The exhibition runs until October 2025, and will feature three separate exhibitions of garments by Chanel, Hermès, Rykiel and other designers. Through a collection of sneakers, swimwear and cycling outfits, clothes designed for jogging, motorists … Fashion on the move, shows 200 works, and looks back over three centuries of fashion design, examining stylistic and technical developments and questioning our relationship with the body in movement. Exhibition number 3 - from 8 February 2025 to 12 October 2025 - features the iconic armour of the rider who crossed the Seine on the metal horse Zeus during the opening ceremony of the Paris Games on 26 July 2024.
