For its reopening, the Musée de la Vie Romantique is devoting an exhibition to the painter Paul Huet and his depictions of the sky

On the occasion of its reopening to the public on February 14, 2026, following renovation work, the Musée de la Vie Romantique presents, alongside its renewed permanent exhibition, an exhibition dedicated to Paul Huet (1803-1869) and his fascination for the representation of the sky. A contemporary of Eugène Delacroix and a self-taught painter, Paul Huet passionately depicted the sky and its subtle palette of light. Some 50 paintings by the painter and major artists such as Théodore Rousseau, Camille Corot and Eugène Boudin will be on show. On view from 14 February to 30 August 2026.
From 10am to 6pm. Closed on Monday and 1 May.
€12. Reduced rate: €10. Free for children under 18.
