From 22 March to 22 June 2025, the MR8 gallery is hosting the exhibition ‘David Bowie. Mr Jones' Long Hair’. Conceived by David Lawrence in collaboration with photographers Philippe Auliac, Michel Haddi and Denis O'Regan, the exhibition highlights the man, singer and actor that was David Bowie, as well as the personalities from the worlds of art, music and literature who were involved in his life, from the worlds of art, music and literature who influenced and inspired him in his creative work, from Frank Sinatra to Friedrich Nietzsche, via Jean Cocteau, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Francis Bacon, Jacques Brel, Miles Davis, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Elvis Presley... This is an exceptional opportunity for the general public to discover around a hundred photographs, some previously unpublished, with commentary by David Bowie's half-brother, a soundtrack of the songs David Bowie listened to, and a film made by Michel Haddi during a photo session....
