The Grand Palais presents a retrospective of the work of Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota

As a preview to its reopening to the public in June 2025, the Grand Palais in Paris is inviting Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota to a major retrospective of her work. Born in 1972 in Osaka, Chiharu Shiota is known for her monumental installations made of woollen yarns, inviting visitors to plunge into a poetic, dreamlike world. The main themes of her work are time, movement, dreams and memory. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with Tokyo's Mori Art Museum, and offers an immersion into the artistic world of Chiharu Shiota, in a space of over 1,200 m².
