Spanish Baroque art unveiled through a selection of works from New York's prestigious Hispanic Society of America

From 26 March to 2 August 2026, the Musée Jacquemart-André presents the exhibition "Splendours of the Baroque. From Greco to Velázquez". Dedicated to Spanish Baroque art, it features some forty works held by the prestigious Hispanic Society of America in New York. During Spain's Golden Age, artists were inspired by Baroque art from Italy, bringing a new impetus to their creativity and excelling in portraiture and the depiction of religious themes. The exhibition features paintings by great masters such as El Greco, Francisco de Zurbarán and Diego Velázquez, as well as canvases by 17th- and 18th-century artists from Latin America, a continent colonized by the conquistadors at the time.
From 10am to 6pm. 10am to 10pm Friday. 10am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday.
