Halloween at the Parc Astérix means activities and characters get out of control! Haunted houses, evil creatures and fantastic monsters terrorize (or amuse) Young Gauls. This year, Peur sur le Parc (Fear in the Park) is back with some amazing attractions and shows to spook kids and adults alike: five haunted houses including the brand new Enfer à Pompei or Tombeau des Dieux (Tomb of the Gods), a unique multi-sensory experience, and the Catacombes launched in 2019, a Lost Mission in the middle of a strange planet, diabolical mummies and pharaohs in the attractions, the appearance of disturbing plants in the forest of Idefix, and a new fright zone on a cursed ship ... The Jardin d'Acclimatation joins the Mexican sun during the All Saints' Day period with the famous "Dia de los muertos" fiesta. For five weeks, from 5 October to 11 November 2024, you'll be immersed in Mexican folklore, surrounded by mariachis, catrinas, skeletons and impressive fire artists. Spectacular attractions include the Bewitched River, aboard ghostly boats, and the Mayan Labyrinth, an immersive maze punctuated by special effects. A festive atmosphere, music, colour and dancers punctuate the journey, before a breathtaking baile de fuego at dusk.
As night falls, Big Bus invites visitors to hop aboard a haunted 100% electric bus. This terrifying tour of Paris, transformed into a haunted city for the occasion, sends shivers down the spines of young and old alike as they pass through the ghostly corridors of the Louvre and the wandering spectres of Notre-Dame... Trick-or-treating and bus decorations are also on the programme!
Cross the Seine in a dark and terrifying world. For Halloween, Bateaux Parisiens is decked out in its finest disguises for two special Halloween-themed cruises.
The Paris Zoo (Parc Zoologique de Paris) will place the spotlight on strangeness, with an event titled Rendez-vous Sauvages featuring mythical animals and fantastic creatures. You can also get to know some of the zoo's other surprising and scary animals by listening to experts. Attend the “Journée Frissons” (Shivers Day) with a surprising fantasy trail! Fantasmagorical creatures take over the park and invite courageous spectators to take on challenges to awaken their senses! Dragons, giant insects, fauns, and witches will surprise you with a parade from 4pm onwards, with the distribution of sweets. Don't forget your disguise, a surprise awaits you!
All year round, and especially at Halloween, you can get together with friends or the kids (8 years and older) to give yourself a fright with one of the eight escape game scenarios from Team Break at La Défense. Enter the wonderful world of Harry Potter in the Magic School, try to solve riddles in Fort Boyard, explore the fascinating and terrifying world of dinosaurs in the Jurassic Room, get shivers up your spine in the Haunted Room, travel through time in search of the Philosopher’s Stone (outdoor game), try to escape from your prison cell in Prison Break or from an island in Lost, and show your survival skills in Koh-Lanta. Excitement and thrills are on the cards.
For the more adventurous, there's a nocturne to the Musée de l'Illusion. Brave evening visitors are invited to wander through a completely redecorated museum. In the Hall of Mirrors, the Hall of Infinity, the Vortex Tunnel or the collections of holograms, young and old alike will be amazed by the spectrum of illusions along the way!
With the mysteriously titled "Murder" event, specially dedicated to Halloween, Gamescape is setting up a thrilling investigation for Halloween. For this team game, from 25 October to 3 November 2024, you'll be propelled into the nocturnal atmosphere of dark alleyways on the trail of Jack the Ripper, alongside the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. It's up to you to find the clues and solve the puzzles to stop Jack the Ripper from wreaking havoc. The game is available for beginners and experienced players alike, and is accessible from the age of fifteen accompanied by an adult.
How about making your own Halloween treats? The Gourmet Chocolate Museum invites kids and adults to make delicious chocolate. Programme to be announced!
15 magical ingredients are hidden in the windows of Bercy Village! For Halloween, a special event for children aged 4 to 10 (accompanied by an adult) is taking over the Village. The aim is to find the magical ingredients to make the witch's potion. All they have to do is pick up their booklet in front of the FNAC and look carefully at the shop windows, or even hunt for monsters in the aisles. A surprise awaits children at the end of their search.
For Halloween, the 3 Gally Farm sites are celebrating pumpkins! Children are invited to take part in the Jack O'Lantern workshop, where they can carve the pumpkins grown on the farm into spooky shapes with their family or friends! Then, when night falls, and a candle is placed inside, they can watch the mischievous shadows dance in the darkness. Workshop open to children aged 3 and over.

On Saturday 2 November 2024, the Ile de loisirs de Jablines-Annet reveals its new Trail of Fear, a night-time trail for little and big monsters, populated by creatures of all kinds. The race, which is not timed, can be completed by walking or running, with the whole family, and is suitable for children from the age of 10!
The Château de Chantilly is organizing unusual tours with the White Lady as the theme for children aged 7 and older, printmaking workshops on the theme of Halloween or exploring the chateau by torchlight. The Château de Blandy les Tours is organizing a murder party, and the Château de Breteuil is organising a haunted night at the château (19 October 2024), as well as an afternoon treasure hunt (27 October 2024), pumpkin tales, a fancy dress and carved pumpkin competition, and a Murder Party on 31 October 2024. What a programme!

From 28 October to 02 November, Domus will be changing its face for some chilling evenings. Zombies, make-up, bloody scenography, iconic music, plunge into the world of Nikito from 7.30pm. Over 16s only. Hotel Dracula returns to the Galeries Montparnasse until 5 January 2025. A space where virtual reality makes this haunted house terrifying!
Fans of cinema can look forward to a screening of four feature-length horror films at the Musée Guimet, from 1pm to midnight in the museum's auditorium. On the programme: Dark Water Dark Water, Six Singing Women, Ne coupez pas and Ring. Finally, the evening closes with a cosplay fashion show, where those attending can play their favourite character. Prizes will be awarded for the five best costumes.
The Rodin Museum is preparing a very special evening to celebrate Halloween on 31 October 2024. The evening will focus on Rodin's impressive sculpture, ‘The Gate of Hell’, which stands over 6 metres high. With an immersive soundtrack, illuminated scenography, a dance performance evoking the terrifying fate of the characters in the work, an ephemeral bar and storytellers recounting the writings of Poe, Lovecraft and Dante, the ‘Welcome to Hell’ evening will take brave souls on a sensory journey into darkness.

At the Pachamama club, Halloween Circus of Horror brings together all the guests of the night in their appropriate attire to dance in an exceptional setting in a mix of Halloween costumes and make-up, from the most elaborate to the most eccentric. As many as 1,500 costumed guests are expected to celebrate in a grandiose demonic 2,000 m² setting, with music by 4 DJs.
A new special Halloween game is coming to The Dark Dreams ! A 1,200 m² labyrinth immersed in complete darkness, with a series of closed-door interactions for a show that combines immersive theatre and an escape game.

Paris and the surrounding area are full of places for children to go. Throughout the All Saints' Day holidays, there are plenty of Halloween-themed events to discover. Trick-or-treating**, escape games, scare days in museums and tea parties are just some of the attractions on offer. Halloween is usually celebrated on the evening of 31 October, but there are events throughout October and early November. For children, the festivities run mainly during the All Saints' Day holiday, from 19 October to 4 November.
