Philharmonie de Paris

The Philharmonie de Paris is the new musical heart of the capital. The new building was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. Beside it is the complex which until now has been called the Cité de la Musique, designed by architect Christian de Portzamparc. During the day, attractions include the Musée de la Musique and its temporary exhibitions. In the evening, music lovers can opt for a concert at one of the three concert halls. One of the most impressive, the Grande Salle with its exceptional acoustics, can host up to 2,400 people in orchestra configuration.
The Philharmonie de Paris is also a welcoming place and ideal to walk around or to have lunch at the Gourmandises de l'Atelier or dinner at the restaurant Le Balcon.

Musée de la Musique: under 26s for the permanent collection upon presentation of written proof.
Temporary exhibitions : under 6

Musée de la Musique: young people under the age of 26 who are citizens of the European Union, job seekers, recipients of RSA benefits, Pass Education holders (except for temporary exhibitions).

Full price for temporary exhibitions: prices vary. Tickets for temporary exhibitions give access to the permanent collections and the Musée de la Musique.

The Belvedere of the Philharmonie is closed from the end of October to the beginning of March.

Generally Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays until 8pm, during the exhibitions.

The Philharmonie des enfants is a place dedicated to children aged 4 to 10. On the programme: 1,000m² and 5 thematic worlds where children can learn while having fun (opening on 29 September 2021).

Contemporary

Accessible au public du mercredi au dimanche, de 12h au coucher du soleil, le belvédère de la Philharmonie offre un point de vue unique sur l'ensemble du nord-est du bassin parisien. Cette espace de promenade est ouvert de mi-mars à début novembre (plus de détails sur le site de la Philharmonie).
