Discover or rediscover Paris and its hidden spots on a stroll through the city during Paris Design Week. This event, organised by Maison & Objet from 4 to 13 September 2025, is an opportunity to discover the latest innovations and trends in design. In all, more than 200 venues will be taking part in this 15th edition. The programme includes openings, exclusive workshops and conferences open to the general public and professionals in the sector.
A major free event in the capital, Paris Design Week offers a cross-disciplinary vision of design, from furniture design to graphic design, interior architecture and the decorative arts. A key meeting place for the curious in search of inspiration, designers unveil their projects at exhibitions, workshops and conferences. Conceived as a stroll between several venues to unearth new talent from all over the world, the exhibition features works by famous designers.
Paris Design Week is organised around four main routes through different Parisian districts.
Iconic Parisian landmarks such as the Hôtels de Soubise et de Sully and the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville in Paris are also playing their part, unveiling original installations within their walls.
This week of exhibitions is also an opportunity to talk about the challenges of design, tackling themes such as short circuits and the environmental impact of the objects and materials used.
Cocktails, open-houses, workshops, private tours and round-table discussions punctuate the exhibitions over the ten days of the event, and encourage encounters in the 200 participating venues. The POUSH space, Europe's largest artists' incubator, located in Aubervilliers, welcomes 40 designers of different nationalities. This is a special opportunity to meet these talents and understand their inspirations.
La caserne des Minimes features a selection of works by designers showcasing graphic design in urban spaces. It's a great way to imagine the city of tomorrow. The venue also hosts a participatory textile art installation specialising in weaving and lace.
From 3 to 21 September 2025, the Hôtel de la Marine will host Le Labyrinthe, a monumental installation designed by Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau. Conceived as a three-part narrative journey from the Cour d'Honneur to the Loggia via the state reception room, this project combines contemporary design, artistic craftsmanship and the myth of Daedalus. Echoing his background as a filmmaker, the designer stages a poetic journey through sculptural and sensitive forms, where each space tells the story of the hero's gradual rise in the face of adversity. At the crossroads of museum, theatre and waking dream, Le Labyrinthe pays vibrant homage to French heritage and exceptional craftsmanship.
