Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé

The Fondation Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé, recognized as a public utility in 2006, works to preserve, restore and promote Pathé's historical heritage, which includes more than 10,000 films. The archive, which is regularly enriched, includes several collections: iconographic and advertising material, printed documents, equipment, objects, a library of books and periodicals, administrative and legal archives dating back to the creation of Pathé in 1896, and a silent film collection of around 4,000 titles. The building, designed by Renzo Piano, houses a research center, collection reserves, a cinema dedicated to cine-concert programming of international silent films, and exhibition spaces. The Foundation also organizes numerous educational activities, workshops, tours, conferences and symposia.

Every Saturday and during the school vacations, workshops and shows are offered for families to discover early cinema.

In the garden of the Fondation, Le Studio welcomes visitors during the same opening hours as the museum. This tea room serves hot and cold drinks and a selection of pastries.
