Cabaret-Club Madame Arthur

A true cabaret institution, Madame Arthur was founded in 1946 in Montmartre by Marcel Wutsmann. It quickly became a success and hosted a parade of stars of the genre: Coccinelle, Bambi, and even Serge Gainsbourg, who composed his first songs for Madame Arthur’s performers.

Now a Paris-based cabaret club, Madame Arthur brings this tradition of live cabaret performance and singing into the contemporary music scene. It also maintains its club scene, with a focus on French-language music mixed and remixed by its resident DJ team. The club takes its shows on tour throughout France and internationally.
