Mediterranean Season 2026: The Program in Paris and the Île-de-France Region

• Grand Palais: on 4 July 2026, as part of the Grand Palais d’été, the majestic Nef will host the highlight of the grand festive parade “Raconte-moi ton mariage” (“Tell me about your wedding”), conceived by Mohamed Bourouissa, bringing together processions, brass bands and an unprecedented public gathering
• Musée d’Orsay: a themed tour through the heart of the national collections, re-examining representations, landscapes and artistic exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean in the 19th century
• Palais de Chaillot (Cité de l’architecture and Musée de la Marine) : screenings, open-platform events and exhibitions dedicated to coastal architecture, Mediterranean urban utopias and the history of seafaring
• Arab World Institute (IMA) : a flagship venue for the Season, featuring the exhibition Weddings (Algeria–Morocco–Tunisia) from 29 September 2026 to 31 January 2027, exploring wedding rituals and bridal attire, as well as tribute days and contemporary readings
• Palais de la Porte Dorée (National Museum of the History of Immigration) : a special programme combining debates, performances and exhibitions centred on collective narratives, life stories and memories of Mediterranean migration
• La Gaîté Lyrique: spotlight on young musical and digital talent through concerts, DJ sets and performances exploring the hybrid sounds of emerging Mediterranean scenes
• L’ICI (Institut des Cultures d’Islam): contemporary art exhibitions and workshops celebrating the diversity of contemporary spiritualities and urban creative practices
• Le Centquatre-Paris (104): a multidisciplinary highlight bringing together visual installations, contemporary dance, theatre and socially engaged performances by a new generation of artists
• Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (CIUP): literary gatherings, debates and cross-cultural residencies bringing together intellectuals, researchers and poets from both sides of the Channel
• Le Point Fort d’Aubervilliers: open-air festivals, live concerts, gastronomy and major intercultural gatherings in the heart of Seine-Saint-Denis
• Les Réserves du Frac Île-de-France (Romainville): specially curated exhibitions and carte blanche projects by contemporary artists exploring the landscape and multiple identities
• Canal Saint-Denis and Parc Georges-Valbon (La Courneuve): artistic journeys along the water’s edge, sculpture trails, open-air screenings and large-scale cultural picnics throughout the summer
• Season-closing weekend: a final festive and communal highlight on 30 and 31 October 2026 to celebrate the vitality of Mediterranean exchanges through free concerts, community feasts and a grand closing party at the Palais de la Porte Dorée and the Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris
