Exhibition “Happy Retirement, Dad”: Rayane Mcirdi Takes Over Le Plateau!
From September 24, 2026, to February 21, 2027, Le Plateau will host video artist Rayane Mcirdi’s first major exhibition in Paris. Through an immersive video installation structured as a journey, the artist explores a factory worker’s transition to retirement after forty years on the factory floor, thoughtfully and tenderly examining family memory, intergenerational transmission, and stories from the suburbs.
Free admission Wednesday through Sunday from 2pm to 7pm (late-night hours on the first Wednesday of the month until 9pm).
Guided tour of the current exhibition: every Sunday at 5pm, free of charge, no booking required
