The Canal Saint-Denis links the Canal de l’Ourcq to the Seine in front of the Ile Saint-Denis. A river shuttle boat service operates on this canal (and sometimes bateaux-mouche). Each year, there is more and more development of non-motorized traffic and green areas along its banks.
