It is no coincidence that Paris is the world capital of gastronomy: renowned chefs, pastry chefs, bakers and exceptional artisans showcase their talents every day throughout the city. The good news is that you can also take these recipes home with you. The Ducasse Paris Studio school rigorously applies the principles of Alain Ducasse, one of the world's most Michelin-starred chefs, and is open to anyone who wants to learn and take away these little culinary secrets. For the festive season, the school offers workshops focusing on festive dishes that can easily be recreated at home. Everything you need to host a gathering with a distinctly French touch, whether it be an aperitif dinner, a festive brunch or the all-important Christmas log.
In a state-of-the-art kitchen filled with natural light, participants learn recipes under the guidance of an in-house chef. The aperitif workshop invites you to make a cocktail and a trio of high-end tapas: citrus sea bream ceviche, truffle gougères, langoustine tartlet with herb condiment, before tasting everything and taking home the recipe cards and a branded apron. Making your own Yule log may seem impossible, but mastering this art brings a sense of great pride! A dedicated workshop will teach you how to make a caramel, vanilla and pecan log and a pear, buckwheat and milk chocolate dessert log. To round off the end-of-year celebrations, the sweet and savoury brunch workshop is always a fun and enjoyable experience to share: you'll learn how to make truffle eggs Benedict, duck foie gras toast with apple chutney and black rice, celery and lovage crackers with lobster, as well as French toast with a light vanilla mousse.

Mariage Frères, tea specialists since 1854, offer numerous tea-themed workshops throughout the year. For the festive season, the Christmas Tea Club offers the chance to taste eight festive grand cru teas – perfectly brewed and served at the ideal temperature – accompanied by two tea-flavoured cakes in a private lounge. Participants receive a 10% discount on their purchases in the shop and a notebook to write down their memories of the aromas and flavours. From 5 December 2025, the Paris Tea Club workshop is launching a unique sensory experience during which participants can taste five teas at their leisure, in a designated, peaceful space. Participants choose a theme (Icons, Japanese Teas or At the Heart of Tea) when booking. They will discover the dry leaves and infused leaves of the five preparations before being served at the table, accompanied by tea-flavoured treats (shortbread, marshmallows).
