Kids all look forward to Easter time! It spells the arrival of spring and lots of fun for little ones.
In Paris, the Easter weekend has lots of ‘eggciting’ activities and entertainment in store: (almost) unlimited chocolate tastings, Easter egg hunts, all kinds of creative workshops, riddles to solve with friends, treasure hunts, exhibitions, cooking classes to be able to make great chocolate desserts … The magic of Easter is also present at numerous major attractions in Paris and in the Paris region. Get your Easter baskets ready!
From 30 March to 1 April 2024, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte invites you to take part in France's largest egg hunt in the grounds of the chateau! Many chocolate eggs, including 4 giant golden eggs, have been scattered in the alleyways of the chateau's 33-hectare French style garden! With the help of a sheet of paper, visitors will have to undertake fun and creative challenges to find them! The prize is a final egg hunt in the estate's copses, and a surprise for anyone who finds the golden squirrel! Different levels of difficulty and several egg hunts are available depending on the age of participants.
On March 30 and 31, 2024, Les Fermes de Gally presents the Fête des Œufs! Children are invited to take part in a non-stop egg hunt, with two group options (3-4 years and 5-12 years). Whether in Saint-Cyr or Sartrouville, the whole family will be on the hunt for golden eggs hidden around the farm to win a surprise!
On 31 March and 1 April 2024, the Château de Breteuil has a rich programme of special events for kids and adults: 4 big egg hunts a day in the wooded grounds of the estate - 15,000 eggs await children, including 3 golden eggs with the chance to win books - storytelling sessions, workshops (egg decorating, face painting) and a sound and light show in the grounds of the chateau.
Come along to the woods of the Château de Saint Jean de Beauregard on 31 March and 1 April from 2.15 to 5.15 pm. Hundreds of white and yellow eggs are waiting to be found, before being exchanged for chocolate. Children from 3 to 10 years old can also spend the day taking part in chocolate cooking workshops, making crepe flowers, competing in the Olympic Egg race, or making beautiful drawings. Chickens, sheep, and lambs will also be onsite for children and adults to enjoy!
A big Easter egg hunt is being organized at Thoiry Zoo Safari on Sunday March 31 and Monday April 1 from 10am to 3.30pm. Over 5,000 colorful eggs are hidden at Thoiry Zoo Safari! Children aged 3-5 are invited to find 4 eggs of the same color, while 6-11 year-olds have to bring back 8 colored eggs to be able to collect chocolate eggs. But keep your eyes peeled for large chocolate eggs and bunnies, too, and you could win ZooSafari tickets and lots more!
On 31 March and 1 April 2024, children (up to the age of 12) and their families are invited to meet at the Provins Tourist Office between 2 and 4 p.m. to collect a treasure hunt. They then set off through the medieval town for a walk that includes 10,000 chocolate eggs, as well as several enigmas! The eggs are distributed by people dressed in medieval costume.
A big egg hunt is being organised at the Parc Zoologique de Paris on Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April! Go in search of eggs, discover eggs from different animals, creative egg-decorating workshops, an egg exhibition, a face-painting workshop... There will also be a chocolate sales and discovery stand in the Zarafa area. Reservations are required for the hunt, which is limited to 200 children per day. Make-up stands and craft activities are also available.
Over the Easter weekend, there are plenty of activities on offer for children whose parents have booked at the Waldorf Astoria Trianon Versailles Palace! A chocolate creation based on beehives and swarms, hosted by chef Eddie Benghahem and his team, taste experiences at La Véranda, an egg hunt in the hotel gardens on Sunday and Monday from 2pm to 6pm, a spring tea time and lots of other creative activities!
On Wednesday 13 March 2024, from 4pm to 5.30pm, the Bon Marché Rive Gauche shop is inviting all little gourmets aged 6 and over to join in an egg hunt in partnership with À la Mère de Famille! No fewer than 60 blue eggs, 25 turquoise eggs, 15 orange eggs and, above all, a single golden egg will be hidden throughout the store's floors and aisles, as well as in Sarah Andelman's Mise en page exhibition, which pays tribute to the world of booksellers. Anyone who finds the golden egg will go home with the "Il était un œuf" box set from À la Mère de Famille in collaboration with Sarah Andelman. Reservations are required.
During the Easter school break, take the whole family on a fun and cultural tour of the Basilique Saint Denis! Families can discover the cathedral basilica, the tombstones of the queens and kings of France, and its history through stories, tales, and legends.
For children aged 5 and over, a workshop lets them decorate an object of their choice. Then it's off to the garden to hunt for eggs! And finally, a surprise awaits them if they find all the hidden eggs! on 1 April 2024, lasting approx. 2 hours, with a small contribution fee.
The traditional Bercy Village egg hunt is back on Wednesday 27 March 2024 from 12pm to 5pm! It's up to children to find 15 adorable rabbits hidden in the shop windows of Bercy Village and to indicate their location on a digital game platform connected from reception. After searching, children who find all the treasures will go home with free Lindt chocolate bunnies from the Bercy Village boutique.
The Jardin d’Acclimatation invites chocolate fans to uncover the little treasures hidden in the park during two egg hunts on Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April 2024. With a small basket, children can search for and collect the chocolate treats of their choice from amongst more than 50,000 eggs scattered around the Jardin d’Acclimatation. Meet at 10.30 am in the Jardin de Séoul for 3-6 year olds and at the Belvédère de l'Impératrice, near the Saint-James entrance, for 7-11 year olds!
Classified as a historic monument, the Royal Abbey of Royaumont welcomes you to a rich Easter and spring program. After an Easter brunch and the traditional egg hunt, on Sunday March 31 at 3:30 pm, you're invited to stop by the organ, then on the following days to a farandole of tales recited by some of the best specialists in the genre.
On Wednesday 27 March, the luxury Parisian hotels Sinner, Brach and Nolinski, owned by the Evok group, are each organising a free egg hunt in the form of an investigation. As they make their way through the luxury hotel's suites, restaurant, terrace and spa, children will be looking for clues that will lead them to the gourmet treasure. On Sunday 31 March 2024, the Parc André Citroën in the 15th arrondissement will be the setting for a charity egg hunt organised by Secours Pop. For a fee of €6, families can send their children to find the eggs in the groves. From 29 to 31 March 2024, come on an egg hunt at France Miniature, a space where all the places and landscapes of France are represented on a very small scale! A treasure hunt is organised around 117 miniature monuments, where children have to find clues and solve riddles. They'll all receive a chocolate reward at the end!
On 20 and 21 April 2024, the whole family can take part in the free egg hunt organised by the GoodPlanet Foundation at the Domaine de Longchamp (16th arrondissement), from 2pm to 4.30pm, in aid of Secours Populaire. Children can solve riddles to find the gourmet treasure and take part in games, workshops and activities to learn about flora and fauna while having fun. On 31 March and 1 April 2024, the iconic Hôtel de la Marine, with its breathtaking view over Place de la Concorde, is organising a free egg hunt for children aged 5 and over. The activity takes place in the ceremonial rooms, where children can wander around looking for eggs hidden in the luxurious décor. Reservations are essential, and the cost is €9 for adults.
The Musée Rodin and À la Mère de famille are organising their third unforgettable Easter egg hunt in the museum gardens. The oldest chocolate factory in Paris has hidden lots of eggs, which you'll have to hunt down on Wednesday 27 March 2024 at 2pm, 3pm or 4pm. days, the Hippodrome d'Auteuil is celebrating the Easter weekend by distributing
7,000 chocolate eggs to children on Sunday 31 March. As well as the unique atmosphere of horse racing and the great outdoors, children will be able to enjoy their favourite animations free of charge: wooden horse racing simulators, carousel rides, pony rides for the little ones and inflatable games.
An aquatic egg hunt is planned for Sunday 31 March 2024 and Monday 1 April 2024 at the Hôtel Molitor! Children under 10, accompanied by an adult, will go in search of chocolate-covered eggs during a Treasure Hunt in the indoor pool. Everyone can also enjoy an exceptional weekend including a gourmet brunch, "all choco" cocktail tastings and other surprises!
On Sunday 31 March 2024, the Parisian Palace The Peninsula Paris is holding its Grand Easter Brunch, with a kid's club area where the little ones, in partnership with children's fashion house Tartine et Chocolat, will search for eggs in the Palace's hidden garden. Fun workshops, face painting and wreath making are also on the agenda.
On 30 and 31 March 2024, children aged 2 to 10 and their parents are invited to La RECyclerie for a weekend of fun and adventure. On the Petite Ceinture, take part in egg hunts (Saturday and Sunday at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, booking required), admire the animals at the urban farm or enjoy a delicious Easter brunch. There's also an open-air Easter Fair with wooden games, colouring and workshops such as giant hopscotch, composting, bee-keeping and second-hand children's clothes.
The Musée de l'Homme is organising a highly original activity on 30 March and 1 April 2024, with a chocolate bone hunt instead of eggs! Join us at 11.15 a.m. in the Galerie de l'Homme to wander among its fossils and look out for chocolate surprises in the shape of bones. The bone hunt is open to children aged 5 and over!
From 21 March to 11 April 2024, there are plenty of Easter activities to be found on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré! Eggs, rabbits and giant carrots will be set up in Place Maurice Barres and Place de la Madeleine, tickets will be available to visit the Clamart farm, and four chocolate eggs created by chefs from leading hotels (Hôtel de Crillon, Le Bristol, Sofitel Paris le Faubourg, Mandarin Oriental) can be won by taking part in the competitions on the Comité Faubourg Saint-Honoré Instagram page.
Enjoy an unusual Easter experience with the Batobus egg hunt on the Seine, in partnership with chocolatier De Neuville! Climb aboard a river shuttle specially decorated as a floating forest, where the rabbit Marius organises a one-hour guessing game for 3 to 15 year-olds. A game kit will enable them to solve riddles, enjoy surprises at the various stops and receive a chocolate reward when they reach the Eiffel Tower. On Saturday 30 March 2024, the Centre des monuments nationaux is inviting youngsters to an unusual egg hunt at the Chapelle expiatoire - because it's actually a diamond hunt! As if to answer the call of the Comtesse du Barry, who offers a reward to anyone who returns her jewels stolen on the night of 10 to 11 January 1791, the children's mission is to find the diamonds hidden along the monument's tour route. A tasty reward awaits them at the end!
Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann invites you to a major Easter treasure hunt, from 30 March to 1 April 2024 from 11am to 7pm. Set off in search of the Golden Rabbit's eggs in a ball pool. Once they've completed their mission, children aged 5 to 12 can pick up their surprise bag of Lindt chocolates, partner of the event. The egg hunt takes place on the 5th floor of the Coupole shop, free of charge and without registration.
