To celebrate its 160th anniversary, the Carnavalet Museum is offering a weekend of free events in the heart of the Marais

To celebrate its 160th anniversary, the Carnavalet Museum - History of Paris - is throwing open its doors for two days of activities, tours, and festive events - all completely free of charge. Highlights of the weekend include: fun-filled explorations of the collections focusing on unusual objects, the “Paris-ci, par-là” tour and tours dedicated to Parisian LGBTQIA+ history, as well as a special evening event (Saturday) organized in collaboration with the Young Adults Committee, featuring an immersive game within the museum, drag performances (Kings Factory), and DJ sets in the heart of the gardens. The program is rounded out by a Drag Bingo game with Daisy Lusion, group art workshops (“Carnavalet Respire!”), and poetic interludes both inside and outside the museum.
From 10am to 11pm on Saturday and from 10am to 5.15pm on Sunday. The activities are free, and registration is available on-site for most events.
