Fondation Le Corbusier, Appartement-Atelier de Le Corbusier- Immeuble Molitor, 24 rue Nungesser et Coli - 75016 Paris
From 26 to 27 November 2026
A major event, these meetings explore the deep and formative links between Le Corbusier's work and nature
The Rencontres de la Fondation Le Corbusier offer an immersion into a fundamental but sometimes overlooked aspect of the architect's work: his relationship with nature. Entitled ‘Nature is always present’, this international symposium re-examines how Le Corbusier conceived of modernity not in opposition to, but in harmony with, living things. From villas in the Paris region to vertical garden cities and the monumental projects of Chandigarh, nature acts as an active principle of design. A landmark event for enthusiasts of architecture, urban planning and art history.
