Inaugural exhibition of the Grand Palais Immersif in Paris: "Venice Revealed", from 21 September 2022 to 19 February 2023.
A miracle of engineering, architecture and art, this incomparable city has battled for several centuries against the sea, a merciless threat that has also been the source of its immense wealth. The exhibition Venice Revealed reveals to the public the origins of this city-state set on the waters of the lagoon and explains the reasons for its immense commercial power built around the Grand Canal and its sumptuous palaces.
Exploring the world behind the scenes, the visitor is amazed to discover the countless secrets and treasures that escape their attention as they wander through the city. Going beyond the walls, discovering what is hidden: this is the dream of all Venice enthusiasts, and it is what the Venice Revealed exhibition makes possible.
