Visitors of all ages will take away amazing memories from the Grande Galerie de l’Evolution. From the 7,000 specimens presented in the museum, some will certainly catch the eye of both children and adults. Wheke, a giant squid, and the enormous southern right whale are the stars of the ground floor of the museum. Land-based specimens can be viewed upstairs. An elephant is closely followed by animals from the African savannah: giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and hippopotamuses with enormous open mouths.
