BOOK A MUSICAL

🎯In 2025, headline musicals are topping the bill!

This season, one of the stars is undoubtedly the new adaptation of Les Demoiselles de Rochefort, which will run from 2 October 2025 at the Lido 2 Paris. This classic by Jacques Demy and Michel Legrand is directed by Jean-Luc Choplin. Fans of the original will be delighted to see Delphine and Solange back on the town in a colourful atmosphere worthy of the 1960s!

Another French classic, Le Roi Soleil, the musical by Kamel Ouali and Dove Attia, returns for special performances at the Dôme de Paris from 4 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. Cult songs, majestic sets, and even a Sun King still played by Emmanuel Moire... The recipe for success that has captivated more than 1.6 million spectators has been kept intact, much to our delight!

And if you're feeling really nostalgic, there's some great news in store: the return of Notre-Dame de Paris! To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the show has been revamped with new dates in Paris and a world tour. From 19 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, Notre-Dame de Paris will come to a spectacular close at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. Get ready to sing along during the festive season.

Also not to be missed is the new version of The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, which will be performed at the Théâtre Antoine from 22 October 2025 to 11 January 2026. Conceived by Benoît Solès, Julien Alluguette, Pierre-Yves Lebert (songs) and Marc Demais (musical composition), this adaptation, which differs somewhat from Andrew Lloyd Webber's cult version, offers a clever blend of theatre and opera.

It has come a long way, Jean Poiret's La Cage aux Folles. This classic French play was exported to Broadway, where it became a musical with music by Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Herman, before returning to the French musical stage in this form. This winter, Laurent Laffite takes on the role of Albin/Zaza, promising us a show not to be missed. To discover this new adaptation, head to the Théâtre du Châtelet from 5 December 2025 to 10 January 2025!

Fancy a trip abroad? The musical Chicago – which needs no introduction – is back on stage this season from 7 November 2025 at the Casino de Paris. And with a first-rate cast! This year, singer Shy'm plays the lead role and brings her incomparable energy to the plot of this musical created in 1975 by Bob Fosse on Broadway. The previous adaptation for the French stage, starring Sofia Essaïdi, won five Comédie Musicale awards!

It's a fact: Bollywood musicals are unique and enchanting creations! From 18 December 2025 to 8 January 2026, Bollywood Masala is coming to the Palais des Congrès. It tells the story of the chef who brought cooking to film sets in India, with its share of wild dancing, vibrant colours and romance.

For a real emotional rollercoaster, book your tickets for the musical Cher Evan Hansen at the Théâtre de la Madeleine from 3 October. This play, which won six Tony Awards, tells the story of the difficulties of finding one's place during adolescence with astonishing accuracy and modernity.

In a decidedly more classic style, the surprise of this autumn can be found at the Collège des Bernardins. If you didn't have time this summer, catch up this autumn: you have until 28 November 2025 to discover the immersive musical journey Le Mystère Mozart in this unusual and magnificent venue. An unusual experience halfway between theatre, concert and tour.

Also, Josephine Baker is still in the spotlight at the Théâtre de Bobino from 9 October 2025 to 25 January 2026 in the show Joséphine Baker, le Musical. Performed by a troupe of around ten artists, it traces the history and life of this extraordinary woman, one of the most inspiring figures of the 20th century. After arriving in France from Missouri, she quickly revealed her talents as a dancer and singer, becoming one of the leading figures of the Belle Époque. This musical pays tribute to her free-spirited, committed and multifaceted personality and her incomparable energy. A show that will leave you speechless.

Not to be missed for the start of the 2025 season: La Haine - Jusqu’ici rien n’a changé, a stage adaptation of the cult film by Mathieu Kassovitz, is shaping up to be one of the major cultural events of the season at La Seine Musicale. With an immersive production combining theatre, rap, dance, video projections and urban music, this contemporary creation invites the audience to dive back into the daily lives of three young people from the suburbs and question the social issues that are still burning today.
