Paradis Latin, cabaret in Paris

Listed as a historical monument in the capital, the Paradis Latin is the oldest cabaret in Paris. Originally a Theatre imagined by Napoleon in 1802 and frequented by artists and authors, it was rebuilt in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel to be reborn as the Paradis Latin, with performances of operettas, ballets, dances and attractive shows. Currently, the famous choreographer Kamel Ouali is directing the new show "L'Oiseau Paradis" with dancers, burlesque creatures, actors and singers for a show full of poetry and sensuality. Lunches and dinners during the shows are provided by the famous multi-starred chef Guy Savoy.

A Magnificent Performance
June 7th 2025
We attended a similar concert at Saint-Julien-le-Paurve several years ago during our first trip to Paris. The music was as wonderful this year (perhaps even better, if that’s possible) as it was then. And attending the concert in the beautiful church makes the experience even more special. It was the highlight of our trip.

I did have to move twice on the bus as people got off , to find a working microphone, or one that would switch to my language! But the buses were frequent and ground staff very helpful.

Very well organised. The tower flowed well and I never once felt overwhelmed.
