Music Festival at the Palais de la Porte Dorée

12th arrondissement - 21 June

The Palais de la Porte Dorée is celebrating Music Festival 2025 with a free evening of festivities in an exceptional venue. On the programme: open-air concerts, a friendly atmosphere and an eclectic line-up (rap, drill, urban pop) combining world rhythms, contemporary music and artistic discoveries. This musical event is open to all, in a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere, in the heart of Paris's 12th arrondissement, and is part of the Banlieues chéries exhibition. What a great way to start the summer with music!

The 15th arrondissement is celebrating music! Once again this year, the biggest deep house event in Paris is expecting more than 15,000 people. The 8th edition of the EF Festival by VL will take place on the square in front of the town hall from 6pm to 2am. Grand Concert in the Carrousel du Louvre Gardens

1st arrondissement – 21 June

The closing concert of France Music Week promises to be the highlight of the 2025 Fête de la Musique in Paris. Free and open to all (registration required), it will take place on 21 June in the Carrousel du Louvre Gardens and will be broadcast live on France 2 and Radio France. One year after the Paris 2024 Games, the Olympic cauldron will rise into the Paris sky during the concert.

La Bellevilloise, 88 Ménilmontant and La Halle aux Oliviers

To celebrate Music Day, La Bellevilloise is offering a packed programme spread across three iconic venues in the 20th arrondissement. The festivities kick off at 3pm at 88 Ménilmontant with a lively open-air event in collaboration with the Bragi Pufferfish collective and L'Inter-LGBT, organiser of the Paris Pride March.This highlight also marks the start of Pride Week at 88 Ménilmontant, in an inclusive atmosphere with a rich programme of DJ sets and performances (Loki Starfish, La Gallina, Jackie Fuego, etc.).A few steps away, in the heart of the La Halle aux Oliviers restaurant, musician Ousmane Kouyaté will enchant the audience with a fusion of Mandinka, Afro-jazz, soul and funk music in an intimate setting. Finally, from 11 p.m., it's time to party until the end of the night at the Club and Forum de La Bellevilloise, with house and techno music by Rola and Track Advisor, and an 80s atmosphere orchestrated by the Nuit de FOLIE collective. Music Day 2025 will take place on Saturday 21 June 2025, as it has every year since its creation. This national event is always held on 21 June, the summer solstice, regardless of the date or day of the week.

What is the origin of Music Day?

Music Day was launched in 1982 by Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, and Maurice Fleuret, Director of Music. Their idea was to offer all musicians – amateur and professional alike – a space for free expression in the public arena. Since then, the festival has spread to more than 120 countries around the world.

What are the Music Festival hours?

How to get around during the Fête de la Musique?

The RATP is offering special services for the night of 21 to 22 June 2025: Extended night service: certain metro lines (1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 14), RER (A, B, C, D, E) and Transilien (H, J, L, N, P, R) services will run all night, although not all stations will be open.

Noctilien night buses: running from 12:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., with routes adjusted according to secure areas.
