The Fête de la musique brings the streets of Paris to life on June 21, 2024 for its 42nd edition! All night long, music fans will be treated to an exceptional and eclectic program of performances by well-known artists and up-and-coming talents who will take over the capital from all sides. It's one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in Paris.
The program is vast, so here's a selection of events not to be missed :
9th and 17th arr. – June 21

80 voices will be singing in the Paris metro this Fête de la Musique. The event is organized by RATP and the Prix Joséphine as part of the Cultural Olympiad. It will bring together three choirs in the Auber and Charles-de-Gaulle-Etoile metro stations. The principle: any traveler who wants to is invited to join the choir and give his or her voice! The repertoire includes rock and disco classics by Queen, ABBA, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Joe Dassin and many others.

Students and teachers from the Conservatoires de la Ville de Paris revisit the enthusiastic gestures of Hofesh Shechter's choreographies, as part of the Youth Olympiad 2024. Starting at 7.30pm.
This is followed by the Congolese artists' collective Fulu Miziki Kolektiv, constantly on the lookout for new sounds. Instruments, masks and costumes are made by the artists themselves, in the image of their unique musical universe, advocating artistic freedom.
Gabonese singer Pamela Badjogo takes over, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah. A bubbling cocktail blending Afro-pop and Afrobeat with traditional Mandingo instruments.
Finally, DJ Ka(ra)mi will set the pace with his mixes of Afro-Caribbean percussion samples mixed with hip-hop, R&B, house, zouk and kompa beats.
All this on the temporary Poisson Lune terrace in front of the Palais de la Porte Dorée. Let's go for a trip!

The 15th arrondissement celebrates music! Once again this year, Paris's biggest deep event is expecting over 15,000 people. The 8th edition of l'EF Festival by VL takes place on the square in front of the town hall from 6pm to 2am. The 3rd edition of the Festival Scène en Seine takes place in the heart of the Ile de la Cité, on this emblematic triangular-shaped Parisian square. Sing, dance and discover - that's the philosophy behind this free, festive scène ouverte, celebrating the richness of our musical heritage. Atmosphere guaranteed!
11th arr. – June 21
On this Fête de la Musique evening, are you looking for new encounters, a lively evening and a guinguette spirit? Join us in the 11th arrondissement for Summer Vibes : Dancing Solidaire de l'été. On the program: opening of the photo exhibition "Souvenirs de Vacances" by Laurent Hini, followed by Le Concert d'Antan by Estelle Hass accompanied by Benjamin Sabbah on guitar. Last but not least, the DJ Set by DJ DWETCONE will accompany your dance steps in style. The Petits Frères et Pauvres solidarity and festive event is not to be missed!

Le Ministère de la Culture vous donne rendez-vous dès 14h dans le jardin du Palais Royal pour un après-midi en fanfares. Retrouvez des formations parisiennes historiques, mais aussi quatre batucadas amatrices rassemblant plus de 40 jeunes venues de quartiers prioritaires de la France entière. Programmation à venir.
The Ministry of Culture invites you to join them in the garden of the Palais Royal from 2pm for an afternoon of fanfares. Join the historic Parisian bands, as well as four amateur batucadas, bringing together more than 40 young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods across France. Discover the program.

Ceci est une incitation à danser jusqu'au bout de la nuit ! Aztechno propose un open air festif dans les rues du 13e arrondissement de Paris. Au menu : de la techno, bien sûr, mais aussi de la psytrance, de la hard techno et de l'acid. Un évènement electro musclé gratuit dès 16h et jusqu'à 2h du matin.
This is an invitation to dance the night away! Aztechno offers a festive open air in the streets of Paris's 13th arrondissement. On the menu: techno, of course, but also psytrance, hard techno and acid. A free electro-muscle event from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The iconic pyramid of the Musée du Louvre is the setting for an exceptional free concert just a few days ahead of the Fête de la Musique. The Orchestre de Paris, under the direction of Finnish conductor Klaus Mäkelä, will perform the Symphony n°4 in G major by the famous Austrian composer Gustav Mahler. A magical setting for an unforgettable concert, starting at 10pm.

19e arr. – June 21
Orchestrated by the Vagabond Vibes association, Kiosque en Fête ! opens its stage to local artists and talent from 5.30pm to celebrate the fast-approaching Olympic summer. An eclectic music scene to suit all tastes.

This year, the Musiques du Monde event is part of the Fête de la Musique. African dance, traditional and variety music of many origins: Moroccan, Tunisian, Algerian, Kabylian and Raï, will follow one another from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Impossible not to move!
15e arr. – June 21
Good humor and good music! That's what awaits you at Place de la Convention in the 15th arrondissement of Paris with En attendant Vincent (ex Lotus Bleu). A pop and rock program from 8 p.m.
14e arr. – June 21
Pop-rock cover band les Grands-Mères au Soleil and friends are back to liven up the Fête de la Musique in the 14th arrondissement. The band of 5 musician friends have worked out their repertoire for the occasion, ranging from the sixties to the 2000s. A tasty mix of music and conviviality!
18e arr. – June 21

Imagine dancing for peace at the bottom of the Montmartre staircase. That's the invitation for the Dance for Peace event, running from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Hip hop, house and electro sets are on the program for this evening of musical celebration.

Staying in the 18th arrondissement, independent label Tango Danger sets up shop on Place Michel Petrucciani to orchestrate its sound system. Joining in the fun: Yanis Greenskin (live), Studio Simone (vinyl selecta), Nizar Zekri and other guests!
