The Trocadéro kiosk is part of a network of tourist information points set up within newspaper kiosks in Paris and Greater Paris in partnership with JCDecaux. The kiosk owners - who are supplied with specific signage - become ambassadors of the destination and provide information about the tourist attractions in the area. The Trocadéro kiosk is just a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, on the other side of the Seine. The Palais de Chaillot - musée de la Marine, musée de l'architecture et du patrimoine, théâtre de Chaillot - is opposite. On the other side of the Trocadero esplanade, you'll find the Paris Aquarium and the superb Trocadero Gardens. The Musée Guimet, the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris and the Palais de Tokyo are all within walking distance.
