The Bastille kiosk is part of a network of tourist information points set up within newspaper kiosks in Paris and Greater Paris in partnership with JCDecaux. The kiosk owners - who are supplied with specific signage - become ambassadors of the destination and provide information about the tourist attractions in the area. The Bastille kiosk is located on the famous square of the same name, at the centre of which stands the July Column, topped by its Genius of Liberty. From the square, you can walk to the Marais district on one side and the Faubourg Saint-Antoine district on the other. You can also enjoy a bucolic stroll along the Bassin de l'Arsenal.
