The kiosk operators involved, who have specific signage, become ambassadors for the destination and provide local tourist information. The Gare de l'Est kiosk is located between the Gare du Nord and Place de la République. The Canal Saint-Martin, Saint-Louis Hospital and Jardin Villemin are in the immediate vicinity. The Rontonde Stalingrad and the Folies Bergère are within walking distance.
