Parisian stargazing evenings in 21 parks and gardens across the capital that are open on summer nights

The French Astronomy Association is organizing the latest edition of “Paris Under the Stars,” which runs through September 5, 2026. The event, which is free and open to everyone, features 22 nighttime observation sessions of the sky and its constellations in about fifteen parks and gardens across the capital that will be open exceptionally on summer nights. New additions for 2026 include the Arènes de Lutèce (5th arrondissement) and Parc Georges Brassens (15th arrondissement).

Les Nuits des étoiles are back for a special edition. Organised by the French Astronomy Association (AFA), these free evenings, open to all, invite you to explore the night sky guided by passionate astronomers.

On Monday 2 August 2027, witness a partial solar eclipse, approximately 51 per cent visible from Paris. The event will begin around 10am, reach its peak around 11am and end around midday.
