2027 New Year's Eve Show and Fireworks at the Arc de Triomphe

Starting at 11.50pm, enjoy a spectacular show projected onto the Arc de Triomphe. At midnight, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the Parisian sky to the beat of an all-female playlist, for a magical and emotional countdown to 2027

The highlight of New Year’s Eve in Paris takes place on the facade of the Arc de Triomphe. Starting at 11.50pm., the monument transforms into a giant screen for a monumental video-mapping show. At the stroke of midnight, following the traditional countdown projected onto the monument, a spectacular fireworks display lights up the Paris sky. An emotional finale brings the celebration to a close as 2027 begins.

To make the most of the New Year's Eve celebrations on the Champs-Élysées, here are some key points to help you organise your evening.

📌 Safety and recommendations

  • Access times: the public is welcome on the avenue from 7pm. Early arrival is strongly recommended to allow for security checks
  • Shops and establishments open to the public should close gradually between 3pm and 6pm. Outdoor seating areas are closed from 4pm. Due to these early closures, the number of accessible toilets will be very limited
  • Recommended attire: wear warm clothing and bring protection from the elements
  • Families: extra vigilance is required with young children; please note that pushchairs are strongly discouraged on the site
  • Restrictions: animals, alcoholic beverages, glass containers and dangerous objects are not permitted. Bicycles, scooters and helmets are not permitted

📌 Getting around Paris

  • Free transport: take advantage of free travel on the Île-de-France network from 5pm on 31 December until noon the following day
  • Metro and RER: to ensure you can get around at night, lines 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 14, as well as all RER lines, will run continuously throughout the night
  • Access closure times: to ensure the avenue is secure, stops will close in stages: from 2pm for Charles de Gaulle - Étoile and Argentine; from 4pm for the central area (George V, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Concorde, Tuileries, etc.); then at 9pm (Dupleix, Passy) and 12.10am (Ternes)
  • Reopening plan: to facilitate departure from the event, the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, Kléber, George V, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Concorde stations will reopen to passengers at 1am
  • Night buses: the Noctilien service will adapt its routes and increase its frequency according to the traffic zones defined by the authorities
