This winter, discover the Dragon and Lantern Festival, taking place for the first time at the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris.
Taking place from 15 December 2023 to 3 March 2024, the Dragon and Lantern Festival is a unique event in Europe, produced in partnership with Yuyuan Garden in Shangai. At nightfall, the Jardin d'Acclimatation and its 42 attractions are decked out in lights, illuminated by lanterns created by artisans from Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden. The festival takes visitors into the world of fantastic creatures inspired by the Book of Mountains and Seas, a famous collection of ancient Chinese legends. The highlight of the festival is the Chinese New Year celebrations on 10 and 11 February 2024, from 2pm to 4.30pm, with a rich programme of festivities including Lion dances, musical performances, folk dances, workshops (calligraphy, tea tasting, lantern making, etc.).
From 6pm to 10pm every day except Mondays and Tuesdays outside school holidays.
