Paris je t'aime kiosks

In collaboration with kiosks in Paris, the metropolitan area and JCDecaux, Paris je t'aime is rolling out a network of tourist information points. Some thirty kiosk staff, true ambassadors of the destination, are on hand to welcome you.

Each kiosk is easily identifiable thanks to a design in the colours of Paris je t'aime and a QR code for quick access to the Paris je t’aime App, like the kiosks near the Musée d'Orsay and the Trocadéro.

2. Useful contacts

Emergency and health numbers

In Paris, as in France, the European emergency number is 112. For situations such as accidents or serious medical conditions, dial 15 (SAMU) or 18 (Paris Fire Brigade). These numbers are accessible free of charge from a landline or mobile phone. Pharmacies, recognisable by their illuminated green crosses, are generally open from 8am to 8pm, and some remain on call on Sundays or late at night. Hospitals in Paris provide a 24/7 service.

Police stations

  • In the event of an assault or break-in, police stations are available throughout the city
  • If you need immediate assistance, call Police-secours on 17 from a French telephone

Numerous foreign embassies and consulates provide assistance to their nationals. Some formalities require a visit to their premises. Depending on the embassy, consult the information on their website or contact them by telephone.

3. Where can I find public toilets?

The 400 sanisettes designed by Patrick Jouin are mostly open from 6am to 10pm, except on the main roads where 150 of them are open 24 hours a day. Free of charge since 2006, the 400 sanisettes in Paris are spread throughout the capital's districts.

  • Please note: they are all accessible to people with disabilities
