It is also possible to hire a bike in some of Paris' bike cafes. These friendly and original places, popular with both seasoned and occasional cyclists, have a shop (bikes, accessories, textiles, etc.), a corner where you can have something to eat or have a coffee, and an area that offers tips and advice. At Steel Cyclewear and coffee shop, in the 11th arrondissement, city bikes that are foldable, practical and space-saving, are available to hire. In the Marais district, the aptly named Peloton offers not only a friendly cafe area, but also rentals of city bikes and road bikes. Finally, in the 12th arrondissement, in the charming Rue de Cîteaux, enjoy a coffee before renting a bike (minimum 3 days rental) at Jour de Vélo, ideal for a Paris city break!
