From 19 to 21 June 2026, the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac will celebrate its 20th anniversary with BRANLY 20 ANS - LE FESTIVAL!, a major weekend of festivities taking place across all its outdoor spaces. Designed as an opportunity for intergenerational sharing, this event offers a multidisciplinary open-air programme combining concerts under the stars, dance performances, artistic introductions, cookery workshops, storytelling and fun activities.
The opening night kicks things off in an immersive summer festival atmosphere. The weekend continues with free admission, inviting the public to move freely between the activities, the permanent collections gallery, a grand public ball and a night-time film marathon beneath the Eiffel Tower.
Throughout the summer of 2026, the 20th Anniversary Summer Garden will transform the outdoor areas of the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac into an open and welcoming cultural space. Designed as a season in its own right, the programme features open-air film screenings, storytelling, creative workshops, mini-tours, talks and activities for all ages. Combining relaxation and discovery, the garden becomes a living space where visitors can stroll, learn and share in a welcoming and festive atmosphere. This summer event extends the spirit of the museum’s 20th anniversary by offering a gentle, immersive cultural experience rooted in the season.
