A 200-square-meter immersive and interactive art installation is coming to the Trocadéro. Visitors explore this giant mural armed with giant dice, becoming participants in a playful journey between Paris and New York
To mark European Heritage Days and the celebration of 250 years of Franco-American friendship and U.S. independence, the Human Rights Plaza at the Trocadéro is hosting an exceptional participatory artwork: The Monumental Game of the Goose. Conceived by visual artist Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine in collaboration with illustrator Pauline Lévêque, this 200-square-meter immersive mural transforms the public space into an artistic playground facing the Eiffel Tower. Armed with giant dice, visitors navigate the 63 illustrated squares that make up the course, becoming participants in a collective performance. The work creates a dialogue between the imaginations of Paris and New York (where the installation initially drew more than 60,000 visitors on Madison Avenue), blending street art, painting, contemporary illustration, and references to cultural heritage.
