The hotel has 149 rooms, 61 suites and 3 presidential suites. Philippe Starck is responsible for the new look of this luxury hotel, which opened in 1928 at 37 avenue Hoche (8th arrondissement). While respecting the spirit of the place, the famous French designer has played the chic and trendy card to rejuvenate the clientele, with a view to attracting ‘millionaires in trainers’ aged between 35 and 50. To capture the ‘ French spirit of today ’, 300 works of art have been used to decorate the hotel, which has an art gallery and specialist bookshop, as well as an Art Concierge to advise guests on the best exhibitions in the capital.
