New show at the Palais Garnier featuring three contemporary ballets by choreographers Micaela Taylor, Mats Ek and Crystal Pite
From 27 June to 14 July 2026, the Palais Garnier presents "Vibrations", a series of three contemporary ballets performed by the Paris Opera Ballet. This new production opens with "Dreams This Way", a creation by American choreographer Micaela Taylor that expresses itself through a language inspired by athleticism and imbued with theatricality. The second ballet, "Solo for Two" by Mats Ek, which makes its debut in the Paris Opéra repertoire, features a duet set to music by Arvo Pärt, and explores the relationship between a couple. The show concludes with Crystal Pite's "The Season's Canon", hailed by the audience for its rare intensity, set to Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" rewritten by Max Richter.
