Step into the heart of the Early Middle Ages with “Charlemagne’s Sword,” one of the signature immersive experiences at the Cité de l’Histoire, located beneath the Grande Arche in Paris-La Défense. Through life-size sets, monumental video projections, and actors interacting directly with the audience, this tour brings to life the reign of Charlemagne and the legends surrounding him. Discover the secrets of Joyeuse, the legendary sacred sword, as you journey through the golden age of the Frankish Kingdom and the founding of the Carolingian Empire.
