The Ballet Nacional de España presents an intense choreographic performance combining flamenco, classical dance and contemporary creation in a visual aesthetic inspired by photography
Ballet Nacional de España takes to the stage with "Afanador", a creation by Marcos Morau that explores the links between dance and image. Inspired by the work of photographer Ruvén Afanador, the show unfolds a series of choreographic tableaux in which queer flamenco, bolero and contemporary language enter into a powerful dialogue. Carried by a troupe of virtuoso dancers, this piece revisits traditional Spanish codes while playing with identities and costumes. With its energy, precision and strong visual atmosphere, the work offers an immersive experience at the crossroads of tradition and experimentation.
