The famous New York modern dance company is back at the Palais des Congrès in Paris
The renowned New York-based Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is returning to the Palais des Congrès in Paris from 7 to 11 October 2026, with a two-part modern dance performance. The “Ailey Legacy” program offers a deep dive into the company’s repertoire with landmark works such as “Night Creature,” “A Song for You,” “Revelations,” and “Cry”- all choreographed by Alvin Ailey in the 1970s - and the ballet “Grace,” created by Ronald K. Brown in 1999. Program B, “New Works,” offers the chance to discover the company’s new creations, such as Medhi Walerski’s “Blink of an Eye,” set to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, and “A Case of You.”
