The American company Alvin Ailey Dance Theater returns to the stage of the Palais des Congrès in Paris

The American dance company Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to the capital this autumn for a series of ballets. The famous New York troupe founded by Alvin Ailey in 1958 celebrates modern dance and Afro-American culture around the world. At the Palais des Congrès in Paris, it will be performing some of the company's most emblematic shows and new works in two different programmes. Programme A presents Survivors by Alvin Ailey and Mary Barnett as well as Revelations by Alvin Ailey and previously unpublished works. Programme B features the hit works Following the Subtle Current Upstream by Alonzo King and Dancing Spirit by Ronald K. Brown, as well as Revelations by Alvin Ailey.
