A former hunting ground of the kings of France, the Bois de Boulogne has become the largest recreational area in the west of Paris. With a surface area of 850 hectares, it includes the Parc de Bagatelle Parc d'Auteuil, the Pré-Catelan and the FondationGood Planet, and offers numerous footpaths, 28 kilometres of bridle paths and 15 kilometres of cycle routes.
Holding an event in or within close proximity to the Bois is a way of enjoying a green setting in the capital away from the noise of the city. Our selection:
Fondation GoodPlanet - Domaine de Longchamp
The GoodPlanet Foundation is a continuation of Yann Arthus-Bertrand's artistic work and commitment to the environment and seeks to raise people's awareness of the importance of ecology and humanism and to encourage them to act in a practical way to protect the Earth and its inhabitants. Located on an estate (3 hectares of wooded parkland) and in the magnificent Château de Longchamp, the Foundation claims to be the first prestigious eco-responsible event site and is a choice setting with a solid reputation. The venue can host all types of projects and has been designed to limit the impact of your events on the environment.
This key venue for contemporary artistic creation can host tailor-made events in its auditorium, hall or on its terraces, in an iconic building designed by the architect Frank Gehry.
The Bois de Boulogne is home to two of the most renowned French racecourses: the Hippodrome d’Auteuil and the Hippodrome de Longchamp. Extraordinary green settings with horseracing as a backdrop for an event with a completely different atmosphere.
This famous Parisian amusement park can also host events in its various buildings (theatre, workshops, and houses).
These former ‘Pavillons de Garde’ that once encircled the Bois are now largely preserved and available to host events in a delightful and leafy setting.
