The festival for food lovers is back for a 10th anniversary edition that promises to be historic. From 21 to 24 May 2026, the capital’s most eagerly awaited culinary event will once again take over the entire nave of the Grand Palais, providing a majestic setting for Parisian haute cuisine.
For four days, the Grand Palais is transformed into a temple of fine dining. The concept remains the same: to allow visitors to sample signature dishes in bite-sized portions (priced between €6 and €12), prepared live by leading chefs. New for this year’s event: contactless card payments are now accepted by all exhibitors to ensure a smoother experience.
Over 4 days, the Grand Palais will play host many ephemeral restaurants. Bistronomy, world food, Michelin-starred cuisine and high-end pâtisserie, all under one roof: in short, a foodie paradise. Visitors will have a chance to sample signature dishes and specialities from great Parisian restaurants, in bite-size portions concocted especially for the occasion.
Each chef presents their signature dishes and gourmet specialities in a tasting format, allowing guests to savour the excellence of Paris’s finest restaurants without having to choose. This package offers a rare opportunity to sample the creations of several renowned establishments – from up-and-coming talents to Michelin-starred chefs – in a single visit, all within a warm and elegant atmosphere.
A unique culinary experience that brings together the best of the Parisian gastronomic scene in one place.
Every year, Taste of Paris brings together the leading names in gastronomy and also showcases emerging young talent. Previous editions have featured exceptional chefs such as Stéphanie Le Quellec from La Scène, Yannick Alléno from Alléno Paris at Pavillon Ledoyen, and Gabriele Ravasio from Gordon Ramsay at Trianon in Versailles. These chefs embody the excellence of the finest Parisian restaurants.
To celebrate this anniversary, Taste of Paris has put together a prestigious line-up combining Michelin-starred chefs, icons of the pastry world and rising stars of the current scene. Among the names not to be missed:
Also worth noting: the exclusive presence of a Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet pop-up, which will showcase several emerging talents in the world of gastronomy.
Beyond tasting, the festival offers a truly immersive experience:
Launched in London in 2004, the Taste of… festival now takes place in several cities around the world. Visitors come from all five continents to discover the best of each local food scene.
In Paris, the festival serves as a showcase for the major trends shaping the capital. On the programme: bistronomy with a twist, fusion cuisine blending influences from around the world, sustainable gastronomy promoting short supply chains and seasonal produce, and even daring plant-based creations.
Chefs take advantage of this exceptional setting for live cooking demonstrations, offering live cooking demonstrations, hands-on workshops and meet-and-greets to share their expertise. A unique opportunity to capture the spirit of Parisian gastronomy and sample what is currently setting today’s kitchens alight.
Taste of Paris is also a place for exchange and learning. Those with a keen interest can attend unique culinary workshops and demonstrations, including those run by the Ferrandi School and the École Ducasse, to discover the expertise and tips of the world’s greatest chefs.
These free sessions can be booked on the spot at the start of the session, subject to availability. Children can also take part in workshops and cookery classes specially designed for them. Something to inspire enthusiasts and budding chefs alike!
The 1,000 m² gourmet market brings together around fifty French producers and artisans specialising in rare ingredients who work alongside top chefs. Visitors can discover and purchase top-of-the-range products used in the kitchens of Paris’s finest restaurants: olive oils, rare spices, exceptional chocolates, mature cheeses and artisanal jams.
