In recent years, leading hotels have teamed up with prominent cosmetic and make-up brands to offer specific treatments and services.

Nuxe is one of those big brands that is highly acclaimed for the quality of its products and treatment programmes. The spa at Le Mathurin, situated in the Madeleine neighbourhood in the heart of Paris, offers treatments and massages using only products by this famous natural cosmetics brand. Just like Terrass’Hotel in Montmartre, Hôtel Square in the 16th arrondissement and Hôtel de Nell in the 9th. Spa Diane Barrière, at true Parisian institution Fouquet’s, offers treatments designed with the personalized cosmetics brand Odacité, enveloping customers in their own peaceful bubble. And for the beauty side of things, the spa has created a make-up room in collaboration with the famous Maison Harcourt.

Spa Nolinski by La Colline at Nolinski and L’Ablutio at Sinner, which are both part of the same group, combine refinement à la française with the quality of the products by this famous Swiss brand, with a range of saunas, facials, massages, exfoliating treatments and detox therapies. The magnificent hotel Cour des Vosges, on the square of the same name, has also chosen this Swiss company for its customers’ treatments.

At the Roch Hôtel at Kimpton Saint Honoré Paris treatments are exclusive and personalized with the expert brand CODAGE, as does the wellness space of the Hotel Paris Bastille Boutet – MGallery.

At Hôtel Molitor, keen spa-goers can head to the fabulously decorated Spa by Clarins, perfect for fans of this French brand of excellent quality. Brach Paris makes use of the French skincare brand’s highly effective products and unique touch in its two beauty suites.

The treatments at Le Belmont's spa feature the natural aromatherapy brand Décleor alongside eco-friendly nail polish brand Kure Bazaar. The Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace Versailles and Saint James Paris attract fans of big names in French luxury to their Guerlain spas.

And it's not just cosmetics brands; some Parisian spas have teamed up with other wellness specialists. For example, Monsieur George has given the running of its wellness area over to the Le Tigre Yoga Club team, who provide massages ranging from vigorous to more gentle, Japanese hair straightening, private yoga classes in guests’ rooms and more.

Outside its hotels, Paris also has many other spas in different parts of the city.

Some spas are unmissable for the unique memories they create, whether with thanks to their unusual decor or their unprecedented treatment techniques.

Rooted in Hollywood style with decor themed on Marilyn Monroe, the Platine Hôtel and its wellness space create an entirely unique experience.

The spa at the Hôtel des Sèvres offers three exclusive treatments performed in even more unique booths : a feng shui spa, an alpha lounge and a floating cocoon. The spa at hotel Le Petit Beaumarchais also has a Flotarium, a large pool of salt water where you can float around and relax, as well as a sauna and treatment room.

Beyond the usual jacuzzi, hammam (Turkish bath), sauna and swimming pool, some Parisian hotels also offer surprising balneotherapy and thalassotherapy treatments. At the Intercontinental Paris le Grand, the Spa by Algotherm (currently closed for renovation) is one of the only spas in Paris to offer thalassotherapy, but also boasts a range of facials, exfoliating treatments, energizing rituals and even treatments for young mothers. At the Hôtel du Collectionneur, Spa Mosaïc has special hydrotherapy baths where you can take advantage of the known benefits of water, before or after a treatment designed by Decléor and/or some time in the hammam and sauna. To stay with the sea theme, head to the tranquil spa Phytomer at the hotel La Belle Juliette.

At the highly exclusive Bonsoir Madame, the wellness area provides various facial and body treatments, a hammam and… an infrared sauna cabin where you can unwind and enjoy a moment of regenerative relaxation in a little bubble of heat.

As for the Fauchon hotel on place de la Madeleine, it has developed varied signature treatments with an emphasis on delicious treats and indulgent pampering. Anti-aging face fitness and lymphatic drainage sessions are also available.
